Hello my name is Mateyo Lewis and I am 16 years old. I train and compete in Brazilian Jiu jitsu and recently began my journey in Muay Thai. My dream is to one day be in the UFC with the hopes of becoming a champion and then starting my own gym where I hope to inspire kids through hard work to achieve their own dreams. I believe fighting is only necessary for competition and testing your own mental fortitude. I want to spread the message of strength with compassion and confidence and if we all work together instead of fighting then we can make the world a safer and much happier place.I’ve found myself in so many ways through martial arts and it has helped me connect with the people around me and the people I love the most!! Living with the compassion and happiness is the most amazing feeling there is, and we should all do our part to put a stop to this era of normalizing being stagnant and unhappy in our daily lives!!
