Happy Halloween, Monsters! Tonight the gym flips the switch. The overhead lights go dark, the black lights snap on, and suddenly the whole room glows. Glow sticks are taped to belts. A skeleton gi shines bone-white across the mat. Somebody's jack-o'-lantern headgear is grinning in neon orange, and the playlist is nothing but spooky Halloween classics turned up way too loud.
